These recipes/dinner ideas can be put together in under 30 minutes, especially if you have fresh, defrosted ingredients.

  • 30 minutes or less prep time, then simmer until dinner:

    I prefer to use tender beef strips or chopped up leftover roast (the few times there are left over roasts around) but in a pinch have used ground beef and have settled on this recipe as my usual go to. It's pretty easy to throw together in the after school crazy, but you do need to watch the pot a bit. Shopping List:

  • 30 minutes or less prep time

    Chicken Schnitzel made fresh in store with premium trim Chicken Breasts in a seasoned breading. Easy to pan fry on medium heat in butter or oil. Just a few minutes each side until centre is cooked through. Perogies, Garlic Bread and Green Beans on the side made this meal complete in less than 30 minutes. Boil the perogies until they float, them brown in oil for a crisp finish.   • 30 minutes or less prep time

    Burgers have saved our dinners many times over the past two crazy years of working late. Easy to grill or pan fry year round, the only hard part is deciding which burger variety to choose. Current family favourite is Bacon Cheddar, but the Gourmet is a close second. Next choice is deciding which onion rings and fries we should use on a burger night. From Curly Fries to Waffles, Thick Onion Rings to Jersey Shore Seasoned Rings, there are endless combinations to mix it up.

    Steak is a perfect, "don't feel like cooking, but do feel like eating" kinda meal. Pair it with a Caesar Salad and fresh Blak's buttered bread for an easy, no fuss meal that feels like you are going out for dinner without going out.

  • 30 minutes or less:

    Sirloin pork chops are tender, juicy and easy to grill or pan fry. Won't be long to have dinner ready with diced potatoes and asparagus sides. Frozen seasoned diced potatoes are easy to prepare - just place on cookie sheet and bake for 15 - 20 minutes. Grill your asparagus right on the same grill after you flip the chops, or steam them lightly to tender-crisp and season with salt and pepper.

  • 30 minutes or less:

    Schinkels' Chicken Bits are the easiest way to get dinner started. Have some defrosted for any day you need a fast dinner option. For a quick prep meal, simply cut the top, dump into a skillet with oil and cook through. Then, just add some veggies and a simmer sauce, and serve over cooked rice or noodles. Easy and Delicious. And Easy.

For a quick prep meal, simply cut the top, dump into a skillet with oil and cook through. Then, just add some veggies and wrap in a tortilla for a satisfying lunch or dinner.

  • 30 minutes or less:

    Leftovers? No problem. Bahmi seasoning packets take any leftovers you have and turn them into something wonderful.

    1. Soak the contents of the bahmi package in hot water
    2. Chop up whatever meat you have on hand
    3. Saute any veggies still in the fridge
    4. Mix it altogether with cooked noodles
    5. Add Ketjap (Sweet Soy Sauce) and Sambal (Hot Peppers) to taste.
    6. Enjoy! Option: chop up fried egg and mix in, too!
