3 cups fresh basil, chopped fine
1/2 cup olive oil
1/4 cup pine nuts, roasted
1/3 cup parmesan, fresh grated
2 tbsp red pepper flakes
4 cloves garlic
1 tsp lemon zest
2 tsp lemon juice


Mix all ingredients in a blender or food processor until smooth.

It helps if you put everything in except the olive oil, then slowly drizzle the olive oil into the processor as you “pulse”.
