Chicken Bacon Ranch Sausage with Diced Cheesy Potatoes

Ingredients: Serves 4
For the Chicken Bacon Ranch Sausages:
– 4 Chicken Bacon Ranch Sausages (from Schinkels’)
– 4 bakery-style sausage buns (from Blak’s Bakery)
– ½ cup sweet & spicy pickled jalapeños (store-bought or homemade)
– ¼ cup honey mustard (or mix honey + Dijon 50/50)
– ½ cup crispy fried onions (store-bought or make your own)
For the Cheesy Potatoes:
– 1½ lbs Yukon gold or baby potatoes, diced
– 2 tbsp olive oil
– 1 tsp garlic powder
– 1 tsp paprika
– Salt & pepper to taste
– 1¼ cups shredded cheddar cheese
– ¼ cup grated Parmesan (optional)
– 1 tbsp chopped parsley (for garnish)
Directions:
Make the Cheesy Potatoes:
1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
2. Toss potatoes with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt & pepper.
3. Spread on a parchment-lined baking sheet and roast for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway.
4. In the last 5 minutes, sprinkle cheese over the potatoes and return to oven until melted and bubbly.
5. Garnish with parsley and set aside.
Grill the Sausages:
1. Preheat your grill to medium heat.
2. Grill sausages for 10–12 minutes, turning occasionally, until cooked through and lightly charred.
3. Toast the buns on the grill for the last minute or two.
Build the Sausages:
1. Place each sausage in a toasted bun.
2. Top with sweet & spicy pickled jalapeños, drizzle with honey mustard, and finish with a generous sprinkle of crispy fried onions.
Serve It All Together
Plate each grilled sausage with a scoop of cheesy potatoes on the side. Grab a cold drink, head outside, and enjoy a flavour-packed meal that’s easy to love and even easier to make.
