Garlic Herb Black Angus Steak with Rosemary Roasted Potatoes and Asparagus

 

🍽 Bite of the Week features fresh Canadian AAA Black Angus steaks

👇🏻 Here’s a market fresh meal idea:

Ingredients:

– 2 Canadian AAA Black Angus steaks (400g each)

– 4 tbsp butter, softened

– 2 cloves garlic, minced

– 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

– 1 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped

– 1 lb baby potatoes, halved

– 2 tbsp olive oil

– 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed

– 1 tsp balsamic glaze

– Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Toss baby potatoes in olive oil, rosemary, salt, and pepper. Spread them on a baking sheet and roast for 25–30 minutes.

2. Season the steaks with salt and pepper. Heat a grill pan over medium-high heat and cook the steaks for 4–5 minutes per side for medium-rare. Let them rest for 5 minutes.

3. Mix butter with garlic and parsley. Place a dollop of this garlic herb butter on each steak while resting.

4. Grill asparagus on the same pan for 3–4 minutes, drizzling balsamic glaze over them.

5. Serve the steak alongside roasted potatoes and asparagus, garnished with fresh rosemary.
