Double Bacon Cheddar Burger with BLT Pasta Salad
🍽 Bite of the Week features Schinkel’s Legacy Bacon, Bacon Cheddar Burgers and BLT Pasta Salad
👇🏻 Here’s a market fresh meal idea:
Ingredients:
For the Burgers:
– 2 Schinkels’ Bacon Cheddar Burgers
– 4 slices Schinkel’s Legacy Bacon
– 2 slices cheddar cheese
– 2 brioche buns, toasted
+ Your choice of toppings:
– Lettuce, Tomato slices, Red onion, Pickles, Mayo, mustard, ketchup, etc.
– 2–3 scoops of Schinkels’ BLT Pasta Salad (ready to serve, made in-store)
Directions:
Grill the Burgers:
1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
2. Grill Bacon Cheddar Burgers for 5–6 minutes per side, or until fully cooked (internal temp of 160°F).
3. In the last minute of grilling, top each burger with a slice of cheddar cheese and let it melt.
Cook the Bacon:
– While burgers are grilling, cook Legacy Bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Drain on paper towel.
Assemble the Burgers:
1. Toast brioche buns lightly.
2. Place grilled burgers on the bottom bun, top with Legacy Bacon, and your choice of toppings.
3. Add the top bun and serve immediately.
Serve with Pasta Salad:
– Scoop BLT Pasta Salad onto the side of each plate — no prep needed!
